Hosting Project Zulu choir members or teachers during a UK Tour is a rewarding opportunity to take part in cultural exchange and build lasting relationships. Our dedicated hosts welcome a pair of South African choir members or teachers into their home for the duration of the tour.

Open to students and academics from UWE Bristol, volunteering opportunities are available in both the UK and South Africa. All of these volunteering roles are developed in response to priorities identified by our South African partner schools. Opportunities are available based on subject discipline to ensure volunteers with the most relevant skills and expertise are recruited. We currently offer volunteering across all UWE Bristol colleges.
"It has been such an experience that we will treasure forever and we have learnt so much about ourselves as well as the children we hosted....
People keep telling me how kind and generous we were for giving the children the opportunity to stay with us but as a family we all agree that we are the lucky ones to have been able to share our home with them. We miss them terribly and talk about them often."
