Principal: Mr Mkhize
Jobstown Primary is located in a remote area slightly north of the Madadeni Township. Each day its pupils must walk for many miles to reach the school, some are transported by local taxi buses.
The school has over 1 100 pupils enrolled, its classrooms are often overcrowded with limited resources to share. Principal Mr Mkhize previously converted it’s library into an additional classroom to help accommodate their pupils.
The money raised from the 2016 Choir Tour was split equally between the participating schools. Jobstown used their share of the funds to support the building of new classrooms giving their pupils a more comfortable and spacious learning environment.
