Project Zulu on the big screens at Ashton Gate Stadium

Published, 25/11/2022

Last Thursday was the much-anticipated game at Ashton Court where the Springboks played the Bristol Bears on their home turf. Congratulations to the Bears who won 26-18, for us it was also fantastic to see the Springboks play in Project Zulu’s home town of Bristol.

Our volunteers were in attendance fundraising for Project Zulu and we’d like to share our appreciation to the Bristol Bears for choosing us as their nominated charitable project for this fantastic game.

Matchday programmes were on sale at the ground for the first time since the pandemic and Project Zulu were featured not only in the programme but a PZ video was played in the concourse on all screens ahead of the game and was also played at half time on the big screens on the pitch to the sell-out stadium of 26,000. We would also like to extend our thanks to our ambassadors Siya Kolisi for his continued support and our longest standing ambassador, Thinus Delport, for representing Project Zulu at this momentous game.
