To support the ongoing work of Project Zulu and its partner schools by ethically capturing, documenting and sharing the development, impact and stories of our projects and partnerships.
Every August, a team of UWE Bristol Film and Photography students travel to South Africa to document activity in the Project Zulu partnership and the stories from our partner schools. Student teams are led by UWE Bristol tutors with industry backgrounds, moving between partnership schools, interviewing participants and capturing the sights, sounds and stories of township and rural communities.
The team also documents Project Zulu Choir Tours, capturing the choir's journey from rehearsals in South Africa through to performances across the UK. Their work can be seen on this website and across the Project Zulu social media channels, helping to share the stories and achievements of the Project Zulu partnership while supporting fundraising activities.
